Throwback to when The Climbing Clan celebrated LGBT history week with one of our ultra welcoming Climbing and Cake events.
@jake_taylor_jones told us what it was like to grow up without allies in his little Welsh town and reminded us we could bring our Climbing Clan welcome and openness to people looking for a little support.
We sold rainbow shoelaces to LGBT-allies and raised a little bit of money for @the_proud_trust – a Manchester LGBTQ+ support charity.
There were rainbow cookies, a Rainbow cake, and Rhiannon’s magic bisexual cupcakes!
Here is Rebecca magnificently modelling the shoelaces before they went to their forever-homes on the feet of our group!
Our next ultra-welcoming Climbing Clan and cake is on the 3rd of April.
