Throwback to a memorable trip to south wales with The Caving Crew – @thecavingcrew – where we visited Craig Y Ffynnon.
One of the problems of incredible stalactites and stalagmites is that they’re often Very Difficult to get good photos of.
It’s not impossible. It’s just very equipment and effort-heavy. Really you need lots of lights, and significantly better lights than a head torch or two.
This cave has some A++ formations which I have kindly photographed for you in this post. The bad news, is that I’ve lit them really badly, so they look utterly pants compared to real life!
