What seems like a lifetime ago, Sarah took Jon, Judith and me for a wapping good time.
Here’s what I said back then:
“Sarah lead us on a magical mine meander through the warmest, dryest mine I’ve ever suffered. I only want to get cold, wet and miserable in the future.
If you like large caverns and more shiny sparkly quartzy minerals than the crown jewels, this is the cave for you.
We saw the stopes, visited the show cave entrance, the spiral staircases, the wishing well, the old hells angels and biker graffiti, we got lost in the maze, had fun under plenty of “definitely solid” pieces of timber and saw the comedy cobra skin.
A great trip – thanks to Sarah for getting us in and out!”
