In our back garden is a big tree.
No climber is happy with an unclimbed high thing nearby. They start getting itchy palms.
So I aid climbed it.
With SRT kit, slings and a rope, I put a climbing rope up it.
The next job is to bolt some climbing holds to it, to make it easily accessible to y’know people like my son (when he’s older!)
If any climbers wish to discuss the ethics of bolting trees with me, I’m keen to listen!
