When I first met Rebs and Naomi through caving, I didn’t think we’d end up becoming particularly close friends.
Naomi thought I was took everything very seriously, and anyway – they lived in Northamptonshire by the side of the river Nynne.
Instead, Rebs helped set up The Caving Crew with us, many nights were spent on Zoom in Lockdown 1 and eventually they introduced me to Amanda, who pushed her comfort zones and let me take her caving. (They’d pushed my comfort zones by taking me wild swimming ).
Anyway – that was just a really longwinded way of saying how lovely it was to have Rebs, Nomz, Amanda, Roy, Roy, Guy and Ross pop over for a Ukelele garden jam party and takeaway one Saturday night, before they headed to Harpur Hill the next day.
