Remembering the time the three newbies did their second caving trip with us. What a memorable trip – who’d know where this bunch of blue eyes bushy tailed cavers would get to!
As I said then:
“The group consisted of some second time cavers, Siobhan, Samantha and Monika, supported by me, Judith and Kim.
The aim: fun in Carlswark Cavern.
Regular readers and sober cavers may be quick to point out: “that’s an oxymoron”, “it’s called Carlswank for a reason” or more bluntly “that’s impossible – it’s shit”
Could they be wrong?
I’ll go out on a limb, and say that it’s the people that make the cave. This was probably the most fun I’ve had in Carlswark, and it was definitely not wank (though Carl wasn’t about, so maybe that helped)
